The Gorow Manor is located 10 km from Bad Doberan. It was built in its present form in 1882 by Detlof von Bülow. After 1945, it served a variety of purposes.

In 2018, ownership passed to Ms. Tanja Mich. The extensive renovation work is not yet complete, but a small café and an excellent restaurant already invite visitors to linger.

Cultural events and concerts are held regularly. On Sundays, there is the popular Piano Breakfast. Some hotel rooms are already complete. The most impressive feature of this building is the original entrance hall, preserved with its columns and surrounding gallery. The magnificent house is surrounded by an enchanted park and a wide moat. The adjacent farm building, which is also a listed structure, is scheduled to be gradually renovated over the next few years.
