A vacation in a castle...
Located about 10 km from the Baltic Sea coast, Tressow Castle is situated in northwestern Mecklenburg. Guests can enjoy a relaxing vacation in four comfortable vacation apartments. A golf course, the Baltic Sea, and the expansive Mecklenburg coastal landscape promise plenty of variety. Lake Tressow is just 800 m from the castle and boasts excellent water quality. There is a swimming area, a sunbathing lawn, and a dog beach.

Ernst Werner von der Schulenburg inherited the estate in 1847. He had the late-Classical manor house south of Lake Tressow built between 1862 and 1865. The architect was Daniel, the court architect of Schwerin, who later became a student of Schinkel.

Since 2021, the castle has housed a branch office of the Dorf Mecklenburg Registry Office. Ceremonial weddings can be held in the castle hall, which is also available for celebrations, receptions, and concerts. The castle park provides a stately backdrop for weddings and celebrations.
