Rittergut Siedenbüssow
Hotel and event location
This house is still being renovated.
The Siedenbüssow manor belonged to the fief of the noble Buggenhagen family and was first mentioned in historical records in the 12th century.
After the death of Andreas Buggenhagen, all the estates passed to the Swedish Crown. Following frequent changes of ownership, in 1703 a grain merchant from Stettin received a letter of nobility from the Swedish king and the Broock estates as a fief. In 1808, Carl Wilhelm von Gentzkow inherited the estate complex and founded the Broock stud farm in 1810. The horse and foal stables were located at the Siedenbüssow estate. In 1891, Baron Adolf von Seckendorff had the old estate house converted into a manor house in the country house architectural style and had the park laid out in the style of Lenné’s landscape gardens. The ponds and streams, fed by their own springs, invite visitors to linger. The estate’s focus is on sustainability and fostering a connection between people, animals, and nature. The Siedenbüssow Manor houses a hotel (currently under renovation), a guesthouse, and several vacation apartments. There are also various event spaces for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and seminars. Plans include an art, music, and cultural center, as well as a small animal sanctuary.
The house is still undergoing renovation.
