Nestled in the heart of an 80,000-square-meter, historically protected landscape park, Landhaus Schloss Kölzow is set amidst unspoiled nature and surrounded by soothing tranquility.

Once the stately residence of a significant agricultural estate with which our family has been closely connected since the early 13th century, the castle now shines in new splendor following extensive restoration. The timeless elegance of days gone by blends harmoniously here with the comforts of modern hospitality. Sixteen cozy rooms and suites are available and can be booked with breakfast. Dinner can be served for hotel guests by arrangement. Dogs are also welcome.

On the ground floor, two halls connected by double doors offer space for stylish family celebrations, festive events, and conferences for up to 100 guests. A spacious foyer and the atmospheric Red Fireplace Room complement the ensemble in both functional and aesthetic ways.

In the large hall, a grand piano not only invites guests to enjoy sophisticated piano concerts but is also available to our guests who wish to express their mood through music. On the second floor, there is a stage approximately 25 square meters in size with room for up to 100 spectators—an intimate setting for cultural performances.

The program is complemented by bread-baking courses, seasonal events, and master classes for selected instruments, conducted by renowned music educators for advanced students.

In 1925, Prince Friedrich Sigismund of Prussia acquired the Kölzow estate as a summer residence and for his passion, horseback riding. It remained in his possession until 1945. The current hosts, Augustin von der Lühe and his wife, took over the house from their parents, who found a “new”  home in their “old” homeland here in Kölzow in 1997. After World War II, the house served as a shelter for refugees and housed a cooperative store, a kindergarten, and the community hall. In 2024, the castle opened as a guesthouse and venue for weddings, celebrations, and seminars.
