Pure design and nature!

The suite hotel is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District, in a setting rich in forests and meadows between Lake Müritz and Lake Plau, along the route of several designated cycling and long-distance trails.

The 18th-century, classically styled Kavaliershaus—a listed historic building that once belonged to the Blücher family’s estate, which included a castle and chapel—is situated on a 6-hectare park-like grounds near Lake Finckener, featuring a boat dock and swimming area. Used during the GDR era as a school and kindergarten, among other things, the property has now been extensively restored and expanded.

The house features 12 individually designed suites and vacation apartments ranging from 50 m² to 120 m² for 2 to 6 people, some of which are duplexes. Each suite features a living area with kitchen facilities and a bathroom. Additionally, there is a shared breakfast and conference room, a small wellness area with a sauna and sauna garden, as well as a small event barn for high-quality workshops and seminars.

The spacious rooms and suites are not only appealing to lovers of design and architecture but also offer ample space and comfort for family vacations. The private swimming area and a sprawling park with towering trees, as well as the children’s playhouse in the garden, are better than any playground. Right next door is a horse farm that offers riding lessons and trail rides for all ages. Concerts from the Festspiele MV take place in the beautiful chapel. Throughout the entire property, you can sense the attention to design and thoughtful details. Weddings can also be held in the chapel, with the reception taking place in the former barn, featuring fine dining from the hotel restaurant. Since the building once housed a school, the hotel’s restaurant is called “Klassenzimmer” (Classroom) and is decorated in a thematically fitting style. However, you feel well taken care of and can enjoy not only breakfast, coffee, and cake but also fantastic dishes made with regional ingredients in a cozy atmosphere.
