Gutshof Hessenburg

Crane Museum & Hotel

The Crane Museum and Hotel at the Hessenburg Estate in Saal, near the East Sea coast of Western Pomerania, is something special.

A gem for art and architecture lovers. Guests stay at the Kranichmuseum, which features installations, paintings, and conceptual art by international artists.

In addition to the beautiful vacation apartments, there are also studios for artists (Artists in Residence). The design concept of the vacation apartments blends exposed brick walls with art, custom-made furniture, and vintage elements. Open spaces, sightlines, and indirect lighting create an extraordinary aesthetic. The space was created to connect history and the present. The bistro-café is open on weekends from April through October. The complex also includes a manor park and an early German tower mound dating back to the medieval knightly era. The coastal Bodden landscape of the Baltic Sea offers breathtaking expanses and an unusually rich variety of flora and fauna.

The location is not only ideal for short trips, museum visits, and family vacations; it also provides an extraordinary setting for celebrations, weddings, conferences, and seminars.
