In this charming brick manor house, surrounded by old trees and rolling hills, a nostalgic atmosphere awaits you.

The manor house was built in 1862 and has been lovingly restored and modernized since 2008 by a couple originally from Berlin. True to the motto “small but nice,” guests have plenty of space and room to enjoy both inside and around the manor house. Operating as a bed-and-breakfast, Gutshaus Zietlitz offers eight individually designed rooms, a breakfast and fireplace room, a games and reading room with a library, a fireplace and TV room with a large-screen satellite TV, and a small wellness oasis. In the Eulenstüberl—the seminar room—with space for up to 20 people and a fully equipped kitchen (available for a fee) for self-catering, groups find a haven. The house is popular with cyclists, nature lovers, book lovers, as well as for small family gatherings, book clubs, or yoga groups.

Mornings begin with a lovingly served breakfast. During the day and in the evening, guests can help themselves to wine, beer, water, or Bionade from the beverage cabinet at very reasonable prices. There is no restaurant at Gutshaus Zietlitz, but the hosts are happy to offer dinner to their guests.

Additional services: A hearty late-riser breakfast, daily housekeeping, bed linens, bath towels, a coffee and tea bar in the manor house rooms, a crib, a high chair, a grill for the garden, and e-bikes. Washing machine and dryer on-site (for a fee).

It’s well worth getting active here to explore the unspoiled nature and charming landscape. There are plenty of tips for hiking and biking trails, swimming spots, day trip destinations, and restaurants in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Many bike trails, such as the Krakow Lake Loop, the Krakow Manor House Loop, or Reuters’ Paradise Garden Trail, are just around the corner. Specifically for cyclists, there are affordable cyclist and low-budget rooms available, with or without breakfast and with the option for self-catering. The rooms can also be booked for just 1 night during the high season.
