Gutshaus Scharpzow

Glamping in the estate park

A manor house built in 1896 in the Mecklenburg Lake District, surrounded by a 3.5-hectare park. The manor house is currently undergoing renovation and serves as a studio or event venue for its hosts, a couple of artists from Berlin.

Set in the estate park amidst mature trees, clearings, a pond, and a large flock of birds, there are four romantic bell tents made of cotton or linen, featuring high pointed gables and high-quality furnishings. The tent suites are fully equipped and feature “real beds.” Bed linens, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries are provided.

There is a small selection of culinary offerings, such as an à la carte breakfast or tarte flambée in the evening. The property caters to individual travelers as well as groups and teams for seminars, workshops, work retreats, or small celebrations and events in the countryside.

By the pond, the historic garden pavilion is available for shared use by all guests, featuring a spacious outdoor area, seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, and a grill and fire pit. The small shop offers natural wines, beers, juices, and other beverages. Additionally, a selection of homemade and local products is available for purchase. Tableware, cutlery, candles, tablecloths, and everything needed to set a beautiful dinner table can also be found there. For cozy reading sessions, there are lounge chairs as well as pillows and blankets. Everything you need for a picnic in the park is also available. For food and drinks you bring along, there is a large refrigerator with a freezer and storage bins. The garden house is surrounded by a large string of lights and provides enough light for cooking or playing cards even after dark.
