The Behrenshagen estate is located near the Recknitz, the river that forms the border between Mecklenburg and Vorpommern.

For several years now, the current owners, Roberto and Britta Siebenbürgen, have been carefully and lovingly restoring the manor house and the park. Viewlines have been reopened, space has been created for the dendrological treasures, replacement plantings have been carried out based on historical views, and tons of trash have been disposed of. The house and park are visibly blossoming with new life. Selected events invite culture lovers and gardening enthusiasts to stroll among the old trees in Behrenshagen. The current owners have created a habitat for 15 bee colonies through an orchard and a well-maintained yet natural park. The estate’s own apiary is complemented by the cultivation of various pumpkin varieties, most of which are not commercially available.
