Gutshaus Hof Sülten
The renovation has begun
The manor house in the Sültenhof district of Briggow had stood vacant for 50 years and has been undergoing careful renovation by Sandra and Lars Lüke for the past year.
As the stars of the NDR cult series "Mit Mut, Mörtel aber ohne Millionen," you can watch them as they set out to turn this old gem into their private home.
The manor house, built in 1816 on the edge of the lake district, was part of a larger estate. The manor house is a jewel of Classicism with Biedermeier influences. It has never been used for anything other than living, and while the vacancy has damaged the structure, much of the original substance has been preserved. The Lükes now want to carefully uncover this and renovate it in accordance with preservation guidelines to make it fit for a new era.
Just under 20 minutes away from Sültenhof, the Lükes run the first organic winery in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This is where the family currently lives. In addition to the winery, the family keeps old breeds of sheep and chickens, as well as vacation accommodations for guests who love unspoiled nature. Excursions to the magical vineyard are included. The Hasseldorf vineyard is envisioned to serve as an outbuilding connected to the historic manor house.
Hasseldorf is part of the Hof Sülten estate, and there’s plenty to experience: sheep, chickens, and you can stay in wonderful yurts. Two cozy new yurts with fireplaces invite you to spend the night surrounded by nature. Bookable, including for the Midsummer celebration: Hasseldorf 10
