Located between Mecklenburg Switzerland and the Mecklenburg Lake District, the Groß Upahl Manor House offers a setting that could hardly be more diverse—here, the best of two landscapes come together. Surrounded by a unique natural landscape, countless hiking trails and excellently maintained bike paths open up—ideal for extended tours and relaxing days in the countryside. The Mecklenburg landscape, shaped by the last Ice Age, reveals its pristine and natural beauty. Natural lakes, rolling hills, and vast forests create impressive backdrops and offer ideal conditions for hiking, biking, and numerous outdoor activities. At the same time, the region is centrally located between Schwerin, Güstrow, Rostock, and Waren an der Müritz  and even the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn is less than an hour away.

Staying at the Manor House

Small but charming, the 27 m² “Kranich” vacation apartment is located on the first floor. It features a cozy living and sleeping area with a modern double bed, an open kitchen with a stove and dishwasher, and a modern bathroom with a shower.
Spacious and flooded with light, the “Seeadler” vacation apartment (approx. 65 m²)  on the ground floor features a private entrance, a bright living and sleeping area with a view of the garden, and a modern full bathroom. The large country-style kitchen is equipped for four people and invites you to cook in a relaxed atmosphere. Bedding and towels are included, and dogs are welcome here. A beach bag can be booked as an optional extra.

For special occasions, the large hall, foyer, and salon can be flexibly booked in addition, making them ideal for family celebrations, workshops, club gatherings, or weddings. Meal packages, conference technology, and catering are also available; prices are available upon request via email.
