Gutshaus Dubkevitz
Private manor house on Rügen
A two-story Baroque manor house with seven axes, built on the site of an earlier structure—Dubkevitz was already, in the second half of the 15th century, the seat of a branch of the von der Osten family, who owned the estate until 1843.
Extensive renovations in the Wilhelminian style were carried out around 1873, and an extension was added in 1913 by the successors to the Osten family, the von Berg family. After the von Bergs were expropriated in 1945, refugees from Pomerania lived in the house. In 2006, the house was privatized; since 2010, it has been owned by Catrione Garrett, who, together with her husband Joachim Ernst v. Marschall, completely renovated the dilapidated building and restored it to its Baroque form. The house is situated in a park and garden area of approximately 3 hectares.
