Gut Botin is the estate of the Rühn Monastery and is typically surrounded by rolling hills, a pond, and the former estate village, located near the famous prehistoric sacred site known as the Boitiner Steintanz. In 1924, the von Oertzen family was the tenant of the estate. The manor house is a half-timbered building constructed in the mid-18th century and renovated in the mid-19th century. Several farm buildings from the former estate have been preserved, though they are now only partially in use. Today, architect Ludger Sunder-Plassmann, as the owner, cares for the historic manor house and uses it both privately and for cultural purposes.
