Gutshaus Battinsthal
A nature retreat in Western Pomerania.
A manor house located in beautiful Western Pomerania, featuring grounds, a lake, and a Schinkel chapel. Ideal for vacationers and groups.
Just 1.5 hours from Berlin lies the historic Battinsthal estate, surrounded by expansive natural landscapes. The estate was acquired in 1817 by Carl von Schuckmann and expanded to cover over 1,000 hectares. After his death, it was managed as the von Schuckmann Family Foundation from 1851 to 1945.
Today, the estate consists of the manor house, the steward’s house, a stable, the estate park, and the park chapel. The manor house dates back to around 1830. After standing vacant for many years, it has been undergoing renovation since 2012 and is now available for events, offering suitable rooms and guest accommodations. The steward’s house, built in 1900, now features three comfortable vacation apartments. The completely overgrown estate park, covering approximately eight hectares and featuring a lake, was restored by the municipality in 2017. The founders’ extraordinary park chapel was built around 1850 by Gustav Stier, a student of Schinkel. In 2021, the restoration of the main nave was completed with the help of a support association and state funding. Thanks to this combination, the Battinsthal estate is a very popular wedding venue, hosting celebrations for up to 100 people with immediate accommodation for up to 40 people and more within a few kilometers.
Many ideas can be brought to life here:
Cultural events: concerts in the ballroom, family gatherings, or readings.

Business: Meetings, seminars, or off-site events are welcome.
