Gut Polchow
Vacation apartment and furniture showroom
A manor house with stunning grounds near Rostock, offering vacation rentals and the authentic country life.
The Polchow estate was established in 1750 by Baron von Wendhausen. In 1904, the so-called “new manor house” was built in the Neo-Baroque style on behalf of the estate owner, Wilhelm von Lowtzow, by the Grand Ducal Court Architect Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel and the Court Architect Stubbe.
Until its expropriation in 1945, it was managed by the subsequent owner, Fritz Loll. Since 2006, renovation and modernization work has been carried out, and the beautiful estate with its expansive park has been brought back to life. The park, with its old trees, was extensively restored and has since been maintained with great care and love. The cemetery in Polchow is home to one of the oldest linden trees in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In addition, parts of the manor house serve as a showroom for furniture and home accessories. High-quality furnished vacation apartments are available in the manor house as well as in the outbuildings. The Teichblick apartment spans 100 square meters over two levels and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen-living room with a dining area. The Parkblick apartment also features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen with a dining area.
The manor house itself houses a showroom for furniture and interior design.
