Veliuonos dvaras
Around 1817–1820, the landowner Mykolas Zaleskis built an elegant one-storey wooden manor house in the Classical style on the site of an older estate. The residence features a four-column portico, while the façade is distinguished by decorative metal staircases and evenly spaced rectangular windows.
At approximately the same time, a small yet refined park was created beside the manor. Designed in a mixed landscape style, it was notable for its collection of exotic trees and ornamental plantings.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the estate was purchased by the family of Baron Alexander Waksel, a Russian nobleman of Swedish origin. Today, the manor is owned and managed by Olga Waksel-Larson.
