Schloss Kaeselow

Nordwestmecklenburg

Kaeeselow Castle is a historic estate built in the Tudor Gothic style around 1860 in the heart of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, near Schwerin. Claudia and Vincent are bringing this listed building back to life piece by piece and have been lovingly continuing the work step by step since 2024. The castle is partially renovated, while some areas are still waiting to be restored to their former glory. Between venerable walls, the park with its old trees, and creative ideas for the future, a place to live, linger, and experience is taking shape.
Chickens and geese roam freely in the tranquil park and adjacent forest. A path leads over a bridge to a small island—there, the old “Burgsee” awaits its restoration, and the large open space in front of the house also invites you to linger.
Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a leash in the park. Parking is limited, but you can park along the street or in the village square.
