Schloß Hohen Brünzow

Seenplatte

Hohen Brünzow Castle was built in the late 19th century as a two-story manor house. Set in its picturesque park, the late-Classical manor house—once richly ornamented—must have been a true splendor in its red and gold hues. The estate, which included five large barns and numerous outbuildings, was converted into a seed-breeding operation with livestock farming after World War II. Until the 1990s, it was one of the few fully preserved estates in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Since 2019, a new Kultur-Gut-Hohen-Brünzow has been taking shape here, offering a rich array of crafts, art, and lifestyle experiences.
