The small manor house was built in its present form around 1850. It initially belonged to the state of Mecklenburg-Schwerin as a domain under the tenant Joachim Struve. In 1895, it was purchased by Ernst Bock and has been privately owned ever since. The history of the house and its inhabitants is particularly turbulent, especially during the turmoil of World War II and the period that followed. It has not undergone any major renovations to date, so artifacts from the presumed construction year of 1888 keep surfacing and are now exposed. Renovations began this year, and a beautiful new roof is expected to be on display by the time of the Midsummer Remise. Petersdorf Manor will become a private family residence and will no longer be open to the public once construction is complete. 

For little ones, there is a play corner with some historical toys and plenty of opportunities to play in the garden. As a special highlight, we are presenting a one-time exhibition of watercolors and drawings by the Hamburg artist Else Linde from a private collection for visitors of all ages.

Refreshments and some homemade cake will be available. A changing station is provided. Unfortunately, Petersdorf Manor is not wheelchair accessible. Entering the dilapidated animal stables is at your own risk. Parking is available on the property for cars.
