Gutshaus Ludorf

Seenplatte

Built in 1698 in the Danish Clinker Renaissance style, the historic interior of the house is still adorned today with fascinating ceiling paintings dating from the time of its construction. An English landscape park extends all the way to Lake Müritz. Unique in northern Germany is the octagonal patronage church, built in the 12th century in the style of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The Ludorf Manor House has been owned by the Achtenhagen family since 1998, who, following a careful renovation, now operate it as the “Hotel & Restaurant Gutshaus Ludorf.” Twenty-six tastefully furnished rooms, a small, elegant wellness area, and a variety of packages and activities in and around the Müritz National Park invite guests to relax, indulge, and enjoy themselves. The kitchen of the estate restaurant “Morizaner” primarily uses regional products and produce grown in the estate’s own garden.
