Gutshaus Battinsthal
Vorpommern-Greifswald
The manor house has been undergoing restoration since 2012 and now offers 10 guest rooms and event spaces.
This estate was acquired by Carl von Schuckmann in 1817 and expanded to cover some 1,000 hectares. In 1850, it became a family foundation. Today, the estate still consists of the manor house, the steward’s house, a stable, the 8-hectare estate park, and the founders’ park chapel, designed by Gustav Stier, a student of Schinkel. The manor house dates back to around 1830 and was restored after standing vacant for over 10 years; it is now available for events.
The listed Battinsthal estate is located 2.5 km west of the last German BAB 11 exit, Penkun (120 km from central Berlin).
Overnight stays are available this weekend—please reserve in advance!
